IAU Symposium No.179
New Horizons from Multi-Wavelength Sky Surveys

The Space Telescope Science Institute and the Johns Hopkins University were co-hosts for the recent meeting organised by the IAU Working Group on Wide Field Imaging. This was held 26th-30th August 1996, in Baltimore , Maryland, USA The proceedings are being published by Kluwer Academic Publishers and will be available in November 1997.
